Set against the stunning backdrop of the Southern California desert, Dead or Alive, the beloved local wine bar, brought its first-ever wine fest to life at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs on December 8, 2018. The event showcased a curated selection of organic, biodynamic, and small-batch wines from passionate, sustainability-driven producers across the western United States. Guests took part in a series of intimate tastings, connecting directly with the winemakers and discovering the unique character and craftsmanship behind each vineyard.

With a green light and complete creative freedom, I was brought on to develop the visual identity and promotional assets for the event. In a city where many events embrace a vibrant mid-century modern palette, it was crucial for this one to stand out with intentional distinction. The creative approach focused on a logo that was simple, classic, and celebratory, paired with a visual library that highlighted the natural beauty of the desert. The imagery embraced an authentic, organic aesthetic with cinematic depth, bringing warmth and richness to every frame. From tone to texture, every element was carefully designed to reflect the spirit of the experience and resonate with an audience that values storytelling, craftsmanship, and the art behind the pour.

The event was warmly received by all who attended. It went beyond the wine, becoming a meaningful experience rooted in community, authenticity, and inspiration. It served as a powerful reminder of why I am passionate about my work: creating visual narratives that elevate brands and foster meaningful connections.
